Ready to learn more about your camera and get out of automatic exposure? Now is your chance! Join us as we break down your camera to help you learn about shutter speed, aperture, ISO and how these settings affect your exposure! We will then put your new knowledge to the test with the guidance of a professional photographer! Your instructor will guide you through the basics of how ISO affects the brightness of your shot and its grainy or noisy effects. The numerical identification of shutter speed and how it can be utilized to complement a shot or dramatize a shot. And finally, f-stop. The eye of the camera. Your instructor will teach you the relation between your own eye in relation to your camera's f-stop. Your instructor will provide you an easy, fun and engaging way to understanding your DSLR! After a bit of class room material, you will venture into the nearby environment and put your skills to the test! Please keep in mind that you will need a DSLR of any make to fully utilize these practices and principles.

Learn natural-light portrait photography and how to shoot stunning natural-light portraits in this 2 hour workshop. In the workshop, will be photographing a model without any on-camera flash or strobe lighting. We will explore how we can work collaboratively with our subject to achieve a portrait that captures their personality and style in a more relaxed and organic manner. Technical learning points will include accurate focusing and metering for skin tones. We will also look at posing and setting your subject at ease.
In this workshop, we're going to be exploring headshot photography and some of my best tips on how to use good light, neutral backgrounds and framing. We'll be covering the theory of lighting scenarios and techniques such as direct light, backlighting and shade.
